Transportation

  • If you need to take a flight, you won't get lost in Madrid as there is only one airport: Aeropuerto Adolfo Suárez Barajas, located just 13 km from Santa Barbara. We recommend purchasing your tickets 6 to 3 months in advance to secure the best prices.

Once you arrive you can take a taxi, Uber or Cabify, but you can also reach the city by public transport:

    • If you arrive at Terminal 4, you can take the Renfe Cercanías train line C1 to Chamartín and then transfer to the metro.

    • If you arrive at Terminals 1, 2, or 3, you can take the metro to the city centre (Line 8 to Nuevos Ministerios, then change depending on your hotel's location).

In both cases, you will need to purchase a card to buy your tickets, which will also be valid for the entire weekend or for future visits to Madrid!

  • If you are renting a car or driving your own, please keep the following in mind:

    1. Madrid Central is an area accessible only to electric or hybrid vehicles or to residents.

    2. Parking near the church is difficult, so we recommend coming on foot, by taxi, or by public transport, and then using the shuttle bus to travel to and from the reception venue.
